Ik kan geen Latijn, dus sowieso even checken. Maar deze vond ik:
Deus solus me iudicabit
("God alone will judge me")
Deus solus potest me iudicare
("God alone can judge me")
Deus solum me iudicare potest
("God alone can judge me")
Deus tantum me iudicare potest
("God alone can judge me")
Nota bene:
Only: TANTUM ( or SOLUM), adverb.
God:DEUS
Can:POTEST
judge: IUDICARE
Me: ME
Deus solus potest me iudicare
The version with "solus" is correct because what you are actually meaning is "God alone" and you translate the meaning behind the words, not just select a word that appears to be equivalent.
If you use "solum" the meaning can be taken as "God can only judge me" which suggests he can't judge anyone else.
