Colorless crystals. AIR/MOISTURE SENSITIVE. Powerful reducing agent. Converts aldehydes and ketones to oximes, and acid chlorides to hydroxamic acids. Used as catalyst, swelling agent and copolymerization inhibitor in polymerization processes.
